The “TABITHA” hat - cute as a button
A pretty cap knit in the round in simple stockinette stitch.
An i-cord threaded thru a row of eyelet holes lets you tighten it to keep it on little heads.
The flower topper is knit separately and sewn on afterwards.
THE BASICS
• Pattern includes 6 sizes: Newborn / 3-6 months / 6-12 months / Toddler / Child / Adult
• Pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses standard U.S. knitting terms
• Instructions are for knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles
• Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)
• Knitting skill level - INTERMEDIATE

• Knitting in the round
• Basic increases and decreases
• Knitting i-cord
• Making pom poms
SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED
• Approx. 100 to 200 yds (91 to 183 m) DK or light-worsted weight yarn depending on size made
• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) 12” or 16” circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge
• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle
