A 3 3/4’’ high, delicate lace cotton angel, worked with chain, double crochet and treble stitches.

When completed, it is stiffened with a proprietory fabric stiffener or slightly diluted PVA craft glue. Ideal as a standing table ornament or Christmas tree decoration, it can be turned into a hanging decoration by the addition of a thread hanger.

Colour variations are suggested in the pattern, together with instructions for making the support cone when allowing the stiffener to dry.

The pattern suggests using #10 cotton, but any size thread or yarn with appropriate hook will be of use.

About 6 angels can be produced from one ball of ‘Empress’ cotton.
