Tablet Case Carry Bag with Alphabet Charts
A cute little padded bag, which you can adapt to suit yourself with your initial, or without, with a short or long strap, or without, to fit any size of tablet/large smartphone.
Difficulty: Intermediate
The pattern is not easy, as it requires you to work with up to 3 colours at once, plus working with a chart, but well worth the effort because it makes such a pretty bag and the double thickness of it will help protect your electronics from accidental bumps and scratches.
Pattern is written in US terms; a conversion chart is included at the end.
I have included a chart for all letters of the Alphabet.
Materials required:
1 skein worsted weight yarn (aran/10ply) in each of 3 different colours, Colours A (Red), B (White) and C (Green), 4.5mm hook; yarn needle; 25mm button.
Gauge: 16 fpdc and 13 rows fpdc on 4.5mm hook = 4”
To fit tablets sized 7” x 8”; 8” x 9”; and 10” x 11” (all sizes are adaptable by making more of less starting foundation chain and working to a longer or shorter length.)
