Taco Tuesday
It’s taco time! This pattern has you constructing and assembling a hand-sized taco which measures about 4” x 3” when using US7/ 4.5 mm needles and bulky yarn for the shell. An alternate smaller version measures about 3” x 2”. Depending on the size of the needles and yarn weight, you can easily scale up or down even further - the pattern includes an adaptation for a miniature taco. This is a quick, forgiving project that is not at all fussy and can be easily completed in an evening or two.
The fillings include lettuce, protein, tomatoes, cheese, and onions. The yarn requirements are flexible and weights can range from fingering to worsted to achieve a realistic look.
Mastery of basic sewing and embroidery technique is required. Embroidery stitches include daisy, chain, and seed for finishing.
