Tactility
Shawl is knit in one piece, worked top down. Beginning with a provisional cast on and a 4 st. increase on each right side row, the shawl flows from the solid stockinette to the textured Gathered Stitch rows, through to the combination of the 2 yarns in the slipped stitch colorwork section ending with a new texture with the contrast color only ribbing.
Did I mention lots of texture.
Miss Babs Kiera lends well to this shawl with a sharp stitch definition, great yardage and, ohhh….the colors. What color combo will you come up with?
Pattern is charts and written row by row instructions both and the intermediate knitter should be comfortable.
Finished size using this yarn and fairly severe blocking is 29” down the middle back and 60” across the shoulders.
Materials Needed:
1 skein Miss Babs Keira, 560 yds. Sport Weight yarn Main Color. Quicksilver used in example.
1 skein Miss Babs Keira 560 yds. Sport Weight Contrast Color. Believable used in example.
#5, 3.75 mm Circular Knitting Needle 24” min.
