Taeda
Taeda is a lacy shawlette worked from side to side, designed to use up most of your skein. Weigh it at the start and increase until you’re halfway through, then decrease. This was designed with sport weight, but can be knit with any yarn at any gauge. Taeda is the scientific name of the Loblolly pine, which I am standing beside, and which gives the yarn its colorway name.
Finished Size: 18x56” once blocked, knit as written
Yarn: Texas Prairie Fiber Co. 2 ply sport, 100% Lambs wool, 300 yards/100g; sample knit in Loblolly.
Needles: 24” circular needle size 6 US (4.00mm), or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 16 stitches/ 22 rows per 4 inches in wet-blocked stockinette. Gauge is not critical for this item, but it will affect drape and amount of yarn used.
Ensure you have the newest version downloaded. Minor change in row 4.
