Tahti Hood
by Jann Hoppler
Using a traditional Star Lace stitch from Estonia, the Tahti Hood is light, airy and will keep you warm on the crispest, coldest, starriest night of the year. The Tahti Hood can be worn over your head or as a large cowl.
The techniques used in the Tahti Hood include a provisional cast-on (your choice), knitting in the round, wrap and turn, Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Cast-Off and Estonian Star Stitches.
The hood is 32 inches (81 cm) in circumference, 17 inches (43 cm) deep.
