In the Taipale sock pattern, you’ll be able to mix your favourite colours and also use up your leftover yarns! Ronja Hakalehto combined all the retro colours from Finnish nature with some traditional Finnish colourwork patterns.

Yarn: Arwetta by Filcolana (80% superwash merino, 20% polyamide, 230 yds / 210 m – 50 g).
MC: 1 skein of colourway Mustard (136).
CC1: 1 skein of colourway Natural White (101).
CC2: 1 skein of colourway Deep Sea (146).
CC3: 1 skein of colourway Dark Chocolate (melange) (975).
Or approx. the following amounts of fingering-weight yarn: MC: 168 (205, 245) yds / 153 (185, 225) m. CC1: 70 (85, 101) yds / 75 (68, 92) m. CC2: 70 (85, 101) yds / 75 (68, 92) m.
CC3: 25 (30, 36) yds / 23 (25, 33) m.
Alternative yarn suggestions are for example Uni 4-ply by Opal or Alpaca Soxx 4 ply by Lang Yarns.
Needles: US 1.5 / 2.5 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles for Magic Loop knitting.
Notions: Stitch markers.
