Taipei Sweater
The Taipei sweater is worked from the top down.
The back is knit flat first to the armholes, then fronts are picked up along the shoulders and worked separately while the neckline is shaped. Front and back are then joined and the body is worked in the round. Once finished, sleeves are added.
