I have said the pattern takes cascade yarn. That’s not what I used. I used 4ply fingering Bluefaced Leicester and nylon yarn hand dyed by Wizard Yarns. Approximately 50g.
However it will work in any sock / fingering weight yarn that matches the guage.
The pattern is simple and easy to follow. It let’s you know how to make it, both a fitted and a slouchy hat.
This hat is in the same stitch pattern at the take one shawl. And the soon to be released take 2.
I am currently working on the fingerless gloves that go with this pattern.
