Fasten this to backpacks, bags or purses, or even as a key chain. My dd likes to use this as a wristlet too. My older girls at age 9 or 10 have enjoyed this as a necklace. But I do not recommend using this as a necklace for a younger girl. Please use your sound judgement and supervise children with this decoration.
