Take Five is a comfortable henley knit seamlessly from the top down with stripes.
The yoke is worked back and forth in rows, the front neckline is shaped with regular increases simultaneously with the raglan shaping.
After the yoke is complete, the stitches of the sleeves are set a side and the body is worked back and forth to the bottom of the front placket where the body is joined in the round and it is worked in one piece to the hem.
The sleeves are worked in the round to the cuff, the pattern provides instructions for two lengths of sleeves.


Gauge
24 sts and 32 rows = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit flat (yoke) with larger needle after blocking
24 sts and 32 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit in the round (body and sleeves) with larger needle after blocking
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Sample shown is size S2 with approx. 7.5 cm/2¾” positive ease at bust using The Plucky Knitter Plucky Feet (90% Merino, 10% Nylon; 389 m /425 y per skein) in colourway Wanderlust as MC and Bellini as CC.

Needles
· 80 cm/32” circular needle in each of the following sizes: 3.5 mm/ US 4 and 3.0 mm/ US 2½ (or size to obtain gauge)
· 40 cm/16” circular needle or double pointed needles (dpns) in each of the following sizes: 3.5 mm/ US 4 and 3.0 mm/ US 2½ for working in small circumferences (or size to obtain gauge) (optional)

Notions
· spare circular needles or waste yarn for holding stitches
· stitch markers: 1 red, 4 blue
· 4 buttons with 1.6 cm/0.6” diameter
