Take Me to St.Patrick’s Parade is a asymmetric triangular shawl, knitted from side to side. The shawl knitted in a rib pattern, which has distinctive central ridge which gives the charm to the shawl, makes it extra soft, squishy and warm. This is a double sided pattern, which makes even more desirable for the scarf. This is an adjustable pattern, so, the shawl could be as long as the knitter desires, just making enough repeats of the mane pattern.
To the desire of the knitter the shawl could be wider without the scallops along the edge. Just, simply, skip the bind off part for the scallops.
St. Patrick’s Parades are in March when the weather is still unpredictable sometimes it is warmer than other, sometimes it is cool or even cold, it is never extra to have a wrap.
This shawl made out of gradient kit of Wonderland Yarn Cheshire Cat - super soft, 100% Merino yarn. This brand has wide variety of beautiful colors. 5 skeins of it (640 yards) make reasonable size shawl.
