These socks feature an all-over slip-stitch lacey pattern. Knit from the top (cuff) down with a wide toe and a flap heel. They are sized for women’s feet, for shoe sizes 5-7 and 8-10. Due to the stretchy nature of the lace pattern, if you are in between a size 7 and 8 shoe, you will likely wish to knit the smaller size, and customize the foot length after trying them on in progress.

The sample was knit using one Transitional Pack from Wooly Wonka Fibers, but could be knit using any sockweight/fingering-weight yarn. You will need approximately 375-400 yards of this weight yarn to complete the socks as written, depending on which size you choose.

The socks are named after one of the fashionable 1960s Mod-Look shops on Carnaby Street in London, and are also available as part of the larger 7-piece Carnaby Street Collection ebook here on Ravelry.
