Taking Flight
I designed Taking Flight to represent the silhouette of a flock of gulls flying just above the horizon along the water. The pattern embodies the calm and serenity I’ve felt every time I’ve visited the ocean or walked along a lake, and I hope it gives you those same peaceful feels. Pick your favorite tonal or variegated yarn in shades of blue or teal and get to knitting! This hat would be the perfect accessory for brisk walks near the water or anytime you want to feel like you’re close to a beautiful beach surrounded by the sound of waves and birds soaring over your head.
