Talcott
Felted Tweed Aran is one of the coziest yarns that I know, and when I opened the box of yarn from Kitterly, I just knew I had to work it up into something cabled and cozy. The Talcott Cardigan features a nice mix of Stockinette (for ease of modification and shaping) and modern, graphic cables. A wider crew neckline, cables that reach the bottom of the sweater, and a deep button band finish updating this classic silhouette.
It is worked in pieces from the bottom up and then seamed for stability, with set-in sleeves. The neckline is picked up and worked, followed by the button bands. Vertical darts for waist and bust shaping, located in the interior of the sweater pieces, flatter the figure and are simple to modify.
Felted Tweed Aran is warm, lofty, quick to work, and comes in a stunning variety of colors. It’s both soft and wears well over years - no small feat! I recommend it wholeheartedly for this cardigan
