Tale of Two Twists Scarf
Time to cuddle up for cold weather….well here’s a help. Over 8 feet of snuggle potential for your neck. Worsted weight yarn and size #8 Knitting needles help complete this project just in time. Lots of texture, twists, cables, seed stitches, eyelets create an eye catching display.
The cables are worked with 2 cable needles, moving stitches to either side of a middle stitch. Using 2 different colors of cable needles will help keep order, be sure to start with the same color needle each time.
Scarf is knit in 2 pieces grafted together with the Kitchener Stitch. Blocked to 14” by 103”. Length can easily be changed by adjusting the number of repeats in the 28 row pattern.
Materials needed for this project are:
800 yds. Worsted Weight yarn
#8 Knitting Needles.
2 Markers.
2 Cable Needles.
1 Stitch Holder.
Tapestry Needle.
As with most scarves and wraps, different weight yarn can easily be substituted, just be aware the overall effect does change somewhat.
