Tales of Suspense
Love comic books and knitting?
Big fan of the marvel comic movies and can’t wait for Avengers: Age of Ultron?
Then this shawl is for you.
I was inspired by the comic book Captain America.
The shawl is worked in two colours but can be worked in one or up to six different ones.
Size: 97 cm (38’’) wingspan and 50 cm (20’’) hight, but clue 3 can be easily adjusted to a larger size.
Needles: 3.5mm (US 4) needles circular needles.
Yarn: Rowan Fine Tweed fingering weight, 2 balls of Bainbridge and 2 balls of Askrigg (180m/196 yards per colour). I used up everything but 2m (2 yards) of the Askrigg, so if using the same yarn you may want to buy a ball more.
I would suggest a solid or semis solid yarn that can hold a good blocking.
Difficulty: lace knowlage.
Have fun and join the group discussion :)
