This pattern was created and named for my friend’s first baby!

The blanket has a subtle check pattern that looks lovely on both sides. The garter stitch edging is knit at the same time as the pattern stitch.

Size of the blanket can easily be changed by adding stitches for additional width and/or rows for additional length. The yarn weight can also be changed and adjusted for.

The original blanket used almost five skeins of Malabrigo Yarn Rios and washed up beautifully!
