This is a knitted snowman with tiny birds, that is designed to cover a chocolate orange. Anndd, if you like, a chocolate tea cake too, but this is optional. Once the chocolate is all gone, the teapot can be used as a decorative item.

The teapot measures approx. 15.5cms.

The pattern includes instructions on how to make the snowman with a list of abbreviations. The pattern is written in English & can be printed onto 2 pieces of paper.

Pieces are knitted flat on a pair of straight 3.25mm knitting needles (US 3). There is a tiny bit of i-cord knitting on a pair of double pointed needles. The pattern is worked using stocking stitch. I’ve used black beads in the pattern, but you can just embroider these parts if you prefer.

The pattern uses DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 25g in each colour.
