Taller, Cuffed Rapunzel Mitts
Like all the mitts in my ebook, CAT’S FAMILY OF FINGERLESS MITTS, these mitts are knit side to side and closed with a 3-needle bind-off. The included 15-minute Tiny Mitt video will make you feel as if I am beside you showing you just what to do from start to finish.
Here are the Rapunzel Mitts grown taller, and folded down into a cuff (or they can be worn up). I was surprised at how comfortable a double-thickness cuff is around the fingers. First decide how much additional height you want and multiply that by your stitch gauge. In this example, I followed the pattern on page 2, using a gauge of 5.5 sts = 1”, and cast on 12 additional sts (compare the two schematics above) to add about extra 2 inches of height.
Note that you may need more than one skein of yarn.
