Sizes are based on the width of the foot circumference. The numbers presented below refer to the slipper circumference, not the foot. The slippers should be a bit more loose-fitting than socks, so that you could wear them with the socks.
Foot length: adjustable.

size XS - slippers circumference approx 20 cm/8” - for younger children
size S - slippers circumference approx 23 cm/9” - for older children
size M - slippers circumference approx 25 cm/10” - for women
size L - slippers circumference approx 28 cm/11” - wider women’s foot or a narrower men’s foot
size XL - slippers circumference approx 30 cm/12” - wider men’s foot

You can use Plotulopi by Istex or Slippers yarn by Laines du Nord.
