The Tallulah Jacket is a charming sister design to one of my most popular patterns, the Magdalena Jacket. This adorable piece features the textured lemon peel stitch, created using single and double crochet. Designed with a full skirt and generous chest room, it layers beautifully over other clothing as a true jacket.
The Tallulah Jacket is worked in one piece from the top down. Once the yoke and skirt are complete, the sleeves are stitched directly onto the jacket and finally the collar. With countless hours dedicated to perfecting this design, I’ve also created a comprehensive video tutorial covering every stage of the process.
This pattern is beginner-friendly, featuring step-by-step guidance with detailed photos and videos to support you along the way. I can’t wait for you to get started and experience the same joy this design has brought me!

Materials:
5.00mm(U.S H/8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Aran (worsted weight) yarn. I used James C. Brett Rustic with Wool Aran (Colour 41) for the base of the jacket and Hayfield Bonus Aran with Wool (Colour Alpine) for the collar. See chart below for approximately how much yarn you will need.
