Talmont - a lacy crescent shaped shawlette
by Katy Farrell
If you are new to shawl knitting or want a nice easy knit, then this pattern is perfect. The lace patterns used are very simple with a 6 row pattern repeat being the longest pattern repeat used. The edging is knit first and then stitches are picked up along this length to complete the rest of the shawlette. If the thought of short rows is a little scary, don’t worry as there are no wrap and turns needed with this design. Online support via email is available too if you need it! It is a lovely design with excellent stitch definition if knit in cotton. Perfect for cooler evenings or as an elegant evening accessory too. Knit it in wool for a warmer winter wrap!
