Bears Rock!
FYI that’s the northern pole star Polaris and the Big Dipper.
From where I live I see them all in the night sky. The Polaris align with the Big Dippers two right
most stars and it’s 3 times further away than the distance between those two stars.
The Big Dipper is a part of the Ursa Major, “big bear” constellation and the North Star is the tip of
the tail of Ursa Minor, “Little Bear”.
Bears were sacred, feared and respected animals in the Nord and it was believed to be born from
the Big Dipper fallen to earth. Bears were called by many names, King of the Forest being one of
them, no one wanted to say it’s real name in fear of calling one to them.
Verson 2 now has more sizes and the option to knit the other bear going to the other direction.
