Let’s knit a Summer Bag together for free !

This canteen bag has a distinctive round shape and stands out with its openwork texture. It has been especially designed for beginner crocheters but not only.

It is worked in the round for the sides and flat for the bottom.

The finished size is about 28cm/11in wide.

For the pictured model, I used a single strand of coton that I turned into a cord using a knitting spool. You can use regular cord or raffia. Then you’ll need only about 150m/164yds.

To crochet it, you’ll just need a 10mm/15/P/000 crochet hook, a 25 cm/9.8in zipper, 1.5 m/1.6 yards of faux leather strap in cognac color 1.5 cm/0.6 in wide, a piece of reversible fabric measuring 67cm/ 26.4 in inches wide by 40cm/ 15.7 inches high for the lining.

As the crochet hook is quite big, this project is a pretty fast one yet the final result is really cool.
