tammie norie mitts
Inspired by Shetland’s summer visitors, these mitts are cosy and cute. As well as puffins, there are bonus peerie fish on the palms! There are options for two cuff lengths, two hand lengths, and sizing can be tweaked by altering gauge. The colourwork is knit in two colours only with the accent details duplicate stitched on afterwards.

4ply/jumperweight yarn - something woolly works best
MC: 115-140m |CC: 70-85m | AC: 25-30m
(samples use Jamieson & Smith 2ply jumper weight:
longer cuffs are in MC navy and CC bleached white,
short cuffs are in MC charcoal and CC stone,
both use copper for AC)
