Tampa
Tampa is a symmetrical wrap worked in short rows to achieve its length. A continuous wave accents the outer edge of the body, and a lovely edging completes the wrap. The design was created to imitate the waves lapping along Tampa’s Bayshore Boulevard.
The blocked wrap is 45 in. (114 cm) along the inner curve and 14.25 in. (36 cm) at the widest point. The ends taper to 10.5 in. (27 cm).
The following stitches were used: chain, double crochet, double crochet two together, half double crochet, half double crochet two together, single crochet, single crochet two together, slip stitch, two double crochet cluster, treble crochet.
The pattern pdf is 6 pages in length, and it includes 7 photos. I have included recipe ideas for completing the wrap in fingering-weight yarn and crocheting it without the increase and decrease sections. The edging is easily adapted to the number of stitches across the length of the wrap.
Thank you so much to the following very talented testers: Jerofitana, Livelaughlove381, Alivaz, Kristinlynn, mad4tahoe, czardoz, and 5freakinboys. They kept great notes on their project pages for crocheters.
Please send me a message if you have any questions about this design, or join our group, CrochetWorks. We love to talk about crochet and yarn.:)
