I had this idea about a tandem or more people sitting on a long bike having a dog with them in my head for quite some time.
The first one is eager going on, the girl - second in line is looking at you and the lazy boy in third row just put his feet up and relaxes… as long as the first two ones won’t notice… ;-)
In the little trailer is the dog his ears flying in the wind….
The beanie has a corrugated (= multicolor) ribbing followed by a little daisy peerie. Then come the bikes, a little border pattern with clouds and a big band with the sun. At the top is a big cute flower.

For bigger sizes use 5-ply yarn or/and go up one needle size.
My version is completely knitted with 4-ply sock yarn leftovers.
Alternatively you can use Acrylic or Merino yarn of similar weight or a bit thicker.

Note: Although the pattern is very colorful there are at most two colors in one round! So it’s easier to knit than you may think!

Die Idee zu dieser Mütze hatte ich schon einige Zeit im Kopf: ein Tandem bzw. Fahrradmehrsitzer mit drei Kindern drauf. Ein Junge tritt vorne eifrig in die Pedale, das Mädchen schaut einen an und tut es ihm gleich. Der Junge hinten, faulenzt so lange bis die anderen vorne mitkriegen, dass er die Beine lässig auf den Lenker geschwungen hat…
Und im Anhänger sitzt ihr Hund, die Ohren nach hinten im Fahrtwind… :)
Dann folgt die Sonnenbordüre, die von Wölkchen umrahmt wird. Obendrauf ist eine Blume.

Ich habe die Mütze wie immer mit 4-fach Sockenwollresten gestrickt. Ihr könnt natürlich auch Acryl- oder Merinogarn ähnlicher Stärke oder etwas dicker verwenden..

Für größere Köpfe verwendet bitte 5-fach Garn und/oder dickere Nadeln.

Obwohl die Mütze sehr bunt ist, werden maximal 2 Farben in jeder Runde verwendet. Daher ist sie leichter zu stricken als es aussieht.

Wenn Euch die Tandemmütze gefällt, könnten Euch auch die Rennradmütze, Mountain bike beanie, BMX beanie oder die Motorrad beanie gefallen.
