Tanemaki means planting seeds in Japanese. The stitch featuring elongated cables and seed stitch. The cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. Trapezoid shape is formed by using three different sized needles. The Tanemaki Pattern has both charted and written instructions. A video tutorial of the tanemaki pattern included.
