Update 12th July 2012: The pattern now includes photos of the cowl made in two different yarns. None of the instructions have been changed though.

In the photos the variegated version is the larger size, and the green is the smaller size. You can see that the larger size is loose and the smaller is quite snug. (The green is the Cascade 220).
