The Tangled Tides Wall Hanging uses the mosaic crochet technique. Even though mosaic crochet looks quite complicated, it really isn’t. In fact, it’s a surprisingly simple way to create colorful patterns with multiple colors.

A mosaic pattern consists only of single crochets and double crochets. Half-double crochets are added for the border. Sounds simple, right!?

For this wall hanging, all rows are crocheted from right to left. And you attach a new yarn at the beginning of each row.

The wall hanging I crocheted measures approximately 25 x 40 cm.

I crocheted my wall hanging with double strands of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 yarn and a 4mm and 4.5mm crochet hook. But you can use any desired yarn to crochet it.
