Hook Size: H/8 (5 mm) for size 42”; I/9 (5.5mm) for sizes 45 (561⁄4)”. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge: With H/8 (5 mm) hook, 14 Fsc = 4” (10 cm). Motif (before assembly) = 5” height (stem to point); 51⁄2” wide. In mesh stitch of body: 2 reps of ch 8, (sc, ch 3, sc) = 31⁄2”; 4 rnds = 4”.
