This is a one size shawl, it measures 140cm long and the widest point (in the middle) is 23.6cm.

Gauge: 22sts/42rows in 10x10cm garter stitch.

Needles: 4mm or the size needed to get gauge.

Yarn: Any DK-weight yarn with 225m/100g
MC - 225m/110g
CC - 56.25m/25g

The amount of MC-yarn given is quite precise. If you use a yarn with less than 225m/100g, you will most likely need more than 100g. Additionally, if you prefer to leave long tails to weave in, you might also need more yarn. I leave 5-10cm tails.

This shawl is knit entirely in garter stitch, which means that every single stitch is a knit stitch, both on the right and wrong side. It is knit from end to end so the rows are short all the way through.

The contrasting sections are added by using the intarsia method.
