The tangram square blanket was designed for my son Leo to snuggle up with on the couch. It is knitted all in one piece in garter stitch using intarsia to join the shapes.

The pattern has links to videos I have produced that demonstrate the techniques used to make this blanket - from the basic knit stitch to intarsia garter stitch. So even a beginner can learn to knit this design.

The pattern also includes instructions - using a bit of pythagoras - to alter the size of the blanket from dishcloth to king sized bed or bigger!

A limited number of yarn kits are available to make this blanket in the toddle size (87cm x 87cm) from my new website.
