This pattern is simple and easy to modify! It’s also designed to be fun fun, and should work up quickly on larger needles.

The bulky version should only take a day or two to work up. When designing this hat I wanted as close as I could get to “instant gratification” knitting as possible. The worsted version came about from a desire to have something similar but not quite so thick. And the worsted held double version is because, well, not every indie dyer has a bulky, and sometimes you want to knit up a worsted skein even more quickly than average!

Simplicity and quickness was the goal here. So I’m hopeful that you’ll find this pattern just as fun and quick to make as I have!
