I loved working the Celtic knot so much, and mixing it with other stitch-patterns made this pattern into a joyful knit:)

Design and construction
This classic sweater for children features simple lines; ribbed edges, a crew-neck, long sleeves, and the upper body is shaped by raglan-decreases to ensure a great fit!
Body and sleeves are embellished with cables, twisted sts, eyelets, moss-sts; all designed to give you an interesting knit, as well as a lovely result!
The construction is seamless. Body and sleeves are worked bottom-up and in-the-round to underarms, where pieces are joined.
The upper body is worked in-the-round with raglan-decreases.
Sts are picked up around the neck to work the neckline.

Sizes
There are 5 sizes to choose from:
Finished chest measurements, after washing/blocking and worked at gauge:
Size 1: 9 months – 1 year: 48 cm/19” Size 2: 2 – 3 years: 55 cm/22” Size 3: 4 – 6 years: 63 cm/25” Size 4: 8 – 10 years: 70.5 cm/28” Size 5: 10 – 12 years: 78 cm/30.5”
The sample is worked in size 2 - 3 years.

Materials
Yarn: I recommend a worsted weight yarn with great stitch-definition that knits up to gauge. I used Lark from Quince & co., in the colourway “Audoin”, to work the pullover. This worsted weight yarn comes in skeins of 50 gr/1.76 oz, and 123 m/134 yards.
Of this specific yarn you will need approximately 300/350/450/600/750 m = 327/381/490/654/817 yards. Needles: size 3 mm/US2.5 to work the ribbed hem/cuffs/neckline.
Size 4 mm/US6 to work the main body and sleeves.
Notions: 10 stitch-markers. Cable needle. Tapestry needle.
Blocking tools. Waste yarn (for the underarms).

The pattern
Cables and stitch-patterns are charted, as well as written out, with the exception of the double moss-st (written only).
There is a schematic.
All measurements are given in cm’s, as well as in inches.
All necessary stitch-counts are given.

Knitting skills: average to experienced. There are no difficult/unfamiliar sts, and the shaping is basic, still I think it would be good to have basic skills and above.
