Tannenbaums are little ornaments/appliques that are quick and fun to knit. Decorating them is as much fun as knitting them! Hang them on a Christmas tree, dress up a gift package, or affix them to a blank notecard for a hand-knit greeting. Whatever your purpose, you can make one (or many) in an evening.

Tannenbaum 8 uses approx. 23 yards of fingering weight yarn, plus a small amount of a contrasting color for the optional trunk. The finished piece measures 5.25” at the base and 5.25” tall (excluding the trunk), after blocking.

Tannenbaum 8 features simple-to-work “knots” that provide lots of textural interest. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions, and has been professionally tech edited.
