Tansy Socks
The cheerful golden flowers of the Tansy plant are the picture of late summer to me. Filling roadsides, park trails and open fields.
For this design I wanted to bring that cheerful gold to a cozy pair of socks with traditional Estonian techniques.
They are worked top down, and feature a pop of color at the cuff, a garter framed heel flap, and Roositud down the front of the ankle and foot.
