TanTan
A beginner friendly, simple and light pullover for warmer days.
This pattern has been test knitted and tech edited.
TanTan means plain, light and simple. It reflects the simplicity and lightness of this design. Perhaps in such an extraordinary time, what helps is working with something simple and plain. I wish that knitting TanTan helps you relax and brings you comfort and hope. Let’s look forward to the day when we can enjoy the sunshine and the simple joy of being outdoor.

NOTES AND TECHNIQUES
This sweater is knitted in the round from the top down. The yoke is worked with yarn-over increases and slipped stitches in a contrasting colour to make this a light-weight colourwork design.
Most fair isle style colourwork designs look good with wool yarns that evenly fill the spaces between stitches. The colourwork in this design is made with slipped stitches, so it is possible to knit this sweater using a summer yarn that is not as plump and stretchy as wool.
The back of the sweater is shaped with German short rows. Tubular cast-on and bind-off are used in the sample. If you prefer, you may cast on using the regular long-tail method. You can also bind off the cuffs and hem using any preferred method of binding off.
