Natural Color uses Aladdin from Mountain Meadow Wool. 3.5 sts/in on size 10.5(6.5mm) ndls yields a slightly larger shawl. 2 skeins used! Jill
The culturally traditional cape takes on modern wearability in this innovative, yet easily executed, design. Begin with an edging that uses Elizabeth’s Lace Lattice from “On the Edge” by Nicky Epstein. After binding off, you’ll pick up stitches along the straight edge and then create a strikingly graphic design by dropping and crossing stitches. Fasten with an i-cord drawstring woven through an eyelet row for a cape full of artistic energy.
moderately easy / flat
