Tapestry Adinkra Nkyinkyim
Nkyinkyim is a symbol that represents the versatility needed to thrive during the twists and turns of life.
Adinkra symbols have proverbial meaning from the Akan people of Ghana and have gained popularity across the wider African Diaspora. It makes a great present for those interested in wisdoms from the African continent or just want to create Afro-chic items including blanket squares, pillowcases, wall hangings, bags, clothes etc. This pattern can also be adapted for knitting, beading, cross-stitch and other crafts. Perfect present for Black History Month, birthdays, house warmings, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Independence Day.
