Tapestry Leaf Jacket
The large simple leaves of the Tapestry Leaf jacket were inspired by a Liberty Print. The pattern is comprised of a series of interlocking leaves. Use separate lenghts of yarn (the intarsia method) for the leaves, linking one colour to the next by twisting them around each other where they meet on WS to avoid holes. Carry yarn A, used for veining and outlining certain areas of colour, loosely across the back of every row, weaving in every 3 or 4 sts (the fairisle method). Read charts from right to left for K (RS odd-numbered) rows and from left to right for P (WS even-numbered) rows unless otherwise stated.
