This vest is created using a knitting machine with knitweave capability. The front is a length of knitweave fabric using any yarn to give and interesting design while the back and lining is commercial fabric.

This pattern walks you step by step through the process of taking a commercial vest pattern and creating your own unique vest using your knitweave fabric and store bought fabric.

Knitweaving is a great way to use the leftover novelty yarns in your stash with a solid base yarn, approximately a 3/15 weight yarn.

Note: any basic vest pattern will work great so you can use this pattern to create a vest from toddler to XXL and beyond.
