The name is an old fashion way foot wear was called in my family.

These comfortable sleepers are wonderful project for the coming cold season. This sleepers were made as a last minute request to wear at the school dorm. The best part is that I got to reuse the old cowl and turn it into something warm for the feet. They can be completed in one dedicated evening. Very easy to follow instructions. Feel free to re-purpose old products for the part or whole project.
