The finished spider when I made mine with a G hook and worsted weight yarn was 6 inches long (head to tail) and has a 9 inch leg span. This crochet pattern is intermediate level simply due to the fact that there’s some special instructions for making the legs bend properly. You can make your crochet spider into a fuzzy tarantula by brushing the body and legs with a wire pet brush! You can also make a specific type of spider by embroidering the body and legs with the color and pattern of your choice (for example a jumping spider.) Most of all enjoy your creation!
