Taraxacum shawl
Taraxacum shawl is knit back and forth. You start in the center (neck) on the shawl and increase in each side along the entire shawl and evenly distributed on 5 of the rows as shown in chart 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8. The wrong side of the shawl is mainly knit and s1-k2tog-psso. On chart 4 and 5 the wrong side is purled. The shawl is finished with ribbed knitting, the RS knit stitches on the ribb are knit through the back loop.
Sample is knit with Wollmeise Lace (100g = 525m/574 yds) in color Mäuseschwänzchen.
Gauge for swatch after blocking:
25 sts x 29 row = 10 x 10 cm (4”).
Knitting tension is not essential for the shawl, but if you want the shawl to be the same size as listed, make sure that you have the correct gauge. You can work a swatch according to chart Swatch.
Tools:
Circular needle 2.75 mm/(US 2), 80 - 100 cm.
Cable needle 2.75 mm/(US 2).
At least 2 stitch markers.
