TARDIS applique
A fun pattern to make and add to anything you can think of! Would look great on a bag or end of a scarf.
There is no specified yarn or hook for this pattern. The hook and yarn you choose will dictate the size of the finished TARDIS, but will not otherwise affect the way the pattern is worked.
I made one with a steel 2.35mm hook and crochet thread that came out to be 4 3/4 inches tall. Another made with an F hook and Red Heart Super Saver came out to be 9 inches tall. Any size and combination you want to try will work!
The size you decide on will also dictate how much yarn is needed, but in any case, it is significantly less than a skein.
The following abbreviations are used in the pattern:
Slst- slip stitch
Ch- chain
Sk- skip
Sp- space
Sc- single crochet
Dc- double crochet
Hdc- half-double crochet
FPDC- front post double crochet
BPDC- back post double crochet
FPSC- front post single crochet
CSDC- chainless starting double crochet
FNDC- foundation double crochet
Blo- back loop only
Flo- front loop only
FO- finish off
Both written instructions and a color chart with legend are included.
