The pattern isn’t size specific. You can use whatever yarn or needles you want really, it’ll just change the size of the finished product. I don’t remember exactly how much yarn I used, but it was about 1 and a half of the 1lb yarns, plus more if you want to crochet a backing on it (I did behind the word “TARDIS”).
