This is the third design I created that was inspired by the rugged landscape of the North West of England. I love the contrast between the craggy mountains next to the smooth surface of the lakes, and that is why I called it Tarn. Meaning a small mountain lake, it perfectly captures the shift between the richly textured yoke to the smooth stockinette. I do hope you love it!

Cumbria by The Fibre Co.
218 m / 238 yds per 100 g
4 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8) skeins in Cowberry
Approx 940 (1110, 1330, 1450, 1570, 1670, 1810, 1900) yds

Gauge:

24 sts x 30 rows in Stockinette = 4 inch (10 cm) after blocking on larger needles.

Needles

Size A: 3.5 mm (US 4) with 16 inch cable & 24 inch cable & dpn’s
Size B: 4 mm (US 6) with 16 inch & 24 inch cable & dpn’s

Needle size is a guide only. Always swatch and use a needle size that obtains the right gauge.
